Updated October 11, 2026

Compare the best sympathy cards from top stores in one place.

Sympathy cards on this page range from about $3.95 to $7.50. Most are printed on thick cardstock and feature gentle designs such as floral motifs, greenery, butterflies, or simple solid colors.

When choosing a card, look for a sturdy feel and a design that matches the tone you want to convey. A smooth finish is easy to write on, while a textured or embossed surface adds a subtle touch of elegance.

Consider whether the card includes an envelope and if the wording feels appropriate for the situation. Simple, heartfelt messages work well for most occasions, and a blank interior lets you add a personal note.
